Right, begining to make some kind of decision re: hiring a car and collecting during our stay!!

I have a pretty good quote from Avis £172 and want to make sure that if I book this with the Natwest Gold Card, this will then give us the added insurance with the CDW already included.  Am I right in thinking this?

Also, the Avis pick-up point seems really near to our hotel, Amerihost (prior known as The Diplomat), is this so does anyone know?

Was planning to hire through Dollar but did mean a bus trip of 30 minutes to the other end of highway 192!!

Am I getting my bearings about where things are?  Wonders will never cease!!

No.
The Nat West Rental Car policy is a seperate policy that costs £75. You then have to pay for the rental on a Nat West card, to validate the insurance.

What size car are Avis quoting ?  seems pretty heavy charge if thats without insurance.

Totally got everything confused!!!

Anyway, have just had a lovely conversation with a the man from Sunchase (Peter), who has quoted me £148 for a 4-door something or other, compact I think, with fully inclusive insurance, so will go with him when I have sorted out which days we will need the car!

Somtimes I think I make more worries for myself when life could be so simple!!

Sunchase are cool, they even answered the phone last Boxing day for an enquiry I had.
