So, Deluxe Studio is more likely then?

We are looking at Boardwalk Villas. We love Epcot and the Boardwalk area. Any pros and cons? The price of those seems very reasonable.

What about the two areas at Wilderness Lodge - is one better than the other? We have always wanted to stay at WL but never been able to afford it.
I haven’t stayed at either (our home resort is Bay Lake) but personally I think Boardwalk is a better location - easy access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

When you say "good value for us as we do lots of signatures..." actually 2xTS credits for Signatures is poor value, effectively $90 worth of credits each- 1 Ts is approx $45 on breakdown

Good point.

Leaning towards a split stay. Boardwalk is looking good!

I’ve rented points before and Boardwalk is one of my faves . However just stayed at Copper Creek and that was amazing aswell(another fave). Personally for me I would stay in these two but I don’t think you can go wrong it’s Disney

What is the difference between Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge? Any pros and cons?

So much to learn!

Copper Creek is newer and in the main building. Boulder Ridge rooms are bigger and in their own separate building. Its worth a google to see the rooms as they are quite different.

Thank you.

Another newbie question - what about FPs? Presumably you can still book 60 days out?

So if I did a split stay - say 7 days at Coronado booked with WDTC, then 7 days at a DVC renting points - would I have two separate dates to make FP+ reservations?

What about ADRs?

FP - yep 60 days from check in dates. You would have 2 windows but not a big deal really. Same with ADRs, I think.

Supposedly FP is unaffected & the booking window should be the full 14 days, ADrs were separate but I called MS & they sorted ours out, tbh the "excuse" that they should be treated separately doesn't really "hold water" as you are still onsite, the issue (I was told) is that due to separate depts they each can't see each other's bookings

Thank you! One more question.

Thinking of 2 nights Copper Creek and 10 nights Boardwalk.

Any pitfalls doing 2 and 10 rather than 10 and 2 nights?

My reasoning is that we can live out of a suitcase for 2 nights rather than getting everything unpacked and being settled and then have to move.

It would also mean our first morning could be MK by boat!
