Excited about Disney
|
Windsor Hills or Solterra
Stayed twice at Windsor Hills 4+ years ago, and loved the proximity to Disney staying in a house with a pool.
Like the look of the new kids pool/splash pad area. Finally heading back in Oct half term this year! Kids are a bit older now, so will be doing mix of Disney and Universal, and keen to get another pool house, which we'll share with my parents too. Came across Solterra which looks great as well - many of the properties a bit less chintzy and more modern, still got some nice looking community facilities. Any recommendations / experiences? |

Solterra is a great community - we stayed on there last Christmas at a dibb villa and loved it - the clubhouse had lots to do and the house we stayed in had a fantastic lake view. It is further out from Disney than Windsor Hills but that’s never been something that concerns us.

Sorry to gatecrash your post. We are looking at similar resorts to you. Solterra looks great. Is it close to any restaurants? How long to Universal? Thanks x

Apologies for late posting as I’ve just seen this
Solterra Is very close to Championsgate where there are shops and a good selection of dining options. The tiki bar serves snacks eg hamburgers, chips, pizza etc and serves beers and wine Yvonne |

Solterra! I much prefer Champions Gate to the 192. Also Solterra is a lot newer and has it's own lazy river. Windsor Hills is closer to Disney though if that is important to you..

It's about 40 mins to Universal. It's 5 mins from Champions Gate so Chillis, Millers, McDs and Panera. Also other smaller places.
