not a silly question at all.

We've visited,  as has I think Carole,  who has some photo's on a website somewhere.

It's a lovely park with a strange combination of attractions - there's a water skiing show,  beautiful gardens,  a small zoo area which is not that nice,   a water park (for the under 10s),  a sky ride thing that goes up in the air,  girls dressed in big southern belle outfits walking around.

we quite enjoyed it,  but it was still a lot of walking and wasn't really the restful day that we needed.  Katie loved the water park area- which was brand new when we were there,  it is NOT Blizzard Beach by any stretch of the imagination,  but it had a small pool and some tiny slides for the toddlers  and they were building some slightly bigger slides which weren't yet open.

The grounds are stunning and loads of people get married there,  so we saw at least 5 wedding parties,  and actually ended up eating in a small room with a couple who had just got married and were having champagne toasts and cutting the cake etc - which was a little surreal.

I enjoyed it,  but we won't go back for a long time,

Bev

We went 7 years ago, I thought it was very picturesque and made a pleasant change from the normal theme park rushing around, but then I was over there for 3 months so it didn;t eat into my valuable holiday time .

we went for an afternoon 10 years ago - very nice gardens but not a theme park as such. Brilliant water skiing display and some good rides for the children.

I loved it there. We spent about 10 hours there, looking at the floral displays, strolling in the gardens etc. The photos are on my website here
