As above, I’d stick with HB and pay as you go for any extra lunches.

We've taken our two three times now (aged between 5 and 11) and they are always fine with no proper lunch. Big buffet breakfast and dinner, with snacks brought from home to eat in the queues at lunchtime and they’re fine. If yours definitely need a CS lunch, paying as you go makes the most sense, especially if the adults won’t need a proper lunch.

You can also buy snacks in the railway station cheaper than the parks.

Good idea about snacks for the queues. Our youngest will be 18 months so no doubt will need feeding up more than her big sister. Although she can eat for Scotland at times too! Must visit the train station this time then as never knew about the wee shop. We could stock up the night before if open. Thanks!

The garage at the back of the Santa Fe also has a well stocked shop with drinks, snacks etc

It is actually across the road from the hotel, a little bit more of a trek.

Several shops in the train station so that would be easier.
