Staying On Site for a couple of days only

We are staying in a villa again this year but are having a 'mini vacation treat' by staying on site for 2 nights midway through. We will be buying magic bands at Disney Springs when we arrive and just wondering if they can be linked to the hotel while we are there. Any thoughts would be very helpful, thanks folks

You will have to link them to MDE as soon as you get them to use them with your park tickets. If you then link your onsite stay to MDE too they will open the room door as well.

Think of MDE as your own personal hard drive, it stores all your Disney info, the MB is your way of accessing that HD, so you're not attaching the MB to your Hotel you're attaching them to MDE & all the information that is stored on it. You will also get more MB on check-in, unless you decline them, these will also be able to access MDE & every subsequent MB until you de-register them
