Ok gang, expect to get some serious bombardment of questions from me now, as we are off to WDW for the first time in 43 days!!!

Firstly, I can't decide on hopper passes. We have got our 7 day for the price of 2 Universal ones, so we are sorted there, but it's the Disney ones I can't decide on.

We are there from 22/4 til 1/5, only 8 full days. I think I want 5 day passes but I'm not sure whether to get the hopper or the hopper plus. We aren't visiting any of the water parks and I don't know whether we will visit Pleasure Island twice, but hope to go once to the Adventurers Club.

I have worked out that if we only use one of the plus features, then it will be cheaper to buy just a basic hopper and a separate pass for PI but it seems we will have to buy them when we get there as the UK sites only do the plus passes.

Probably, none of my ramblings make sense and I was going to buy the hopper plus passes until I enlisted the help of my bf who questioned whether we would use them!

Dilemma number two will probably follow shortly - beware!

If you end up buying tickets at the gate at Disney isn't that much of a hassle, there are lots of ticket booths and the lines move very quickly. An extra 5 mins buying your tickets is nothing by the time you've queued for a few rides .
If your buying PI tickets seperatly you can get them at the entrance to PI, there are 20% off vouchers everywhere in most of the freebie tourist books. Also PI will extend your pass for 5 more nights for just $5

The Adventurers Club is brilliant, we often spend an evening there.

dave - is the adventurers club kid-friendly?  I quite fancy a visit myself.

Louise - sorry I'm not much help on the passes - I would have suggested the 10day pass as it;s on sale at the moment,  but if you are only there for a week then that's too much.

Do you realise that if you don't use all the days or Pluses on your hopper pass that you can save them for another trip,  so they would never be wasted.

Thanks Dave, I think that is the decision made. I know I can get cheap hoppers from Florida Orlando Tickets which we can collect when we get there and I will also buy one discounted PI ticket and see how we go!

Thanks all - you have clarified my thoughts on that one!

Bev kids can go in, though they may not apreciate whats happening. I must admit we havent taken ours there yet, ( though they've done PI loads of times).

The decor of the place is just fabulous, relics from impssible expeditions etc this is Disney creativity at its best, the entertainment mainly verbal from the cast members happens all over the place.  You must check it out and stay for at least an hour,(longer if poss) to get into the swing of things.
Try the house cocktail .

Dave, we were thinking of taking Jo, the niece, to the adventurers club. Is there a best time of night to go, or doesn't it matter?

Anita - Seaworld and BG have an excellent deal on at the moment- it's an annual (till Dec 31 2002) pass for the price of a single day pass  - you can buy them online and print the passes out yourself

it's $49.50 for 1 park or $94.90 for both parks  or $124 for 3 parks (Seaworld, BG and Adventure Island)

Look Here

if that link doesn't work it's www.seaworld.com then click on Buy tickets
