View ADR planner in Google Calendar

Hi. I've just found the ADR calculator feature on here (very good!) and saw that I can link this to my Google calendar to get reminders when to book ADRs.

I've followed the instructions and my Google calendar shows the ADR linked calendar in the sidebar, but I'm not seeing any entries in the actual calendar for the dates I have setup (tentative) ADRs for. Am I misunderstanding how it works?

I have created some test ADRs for Sept 2018 in the tool. I expected these would show up in my calendar and maybe even a reminder for 11th March when I can book the first ones?

Also - can the ADR calculator link to the Vacation Planner tool?

Please help a noob to ADRs

Google calendar can be really slow at updating. Apple calendars are almost instant. You should get the reminder on there and the actual date for the restaurant.

It wont link to the planner as that is completely separate the same as the FP+ Planner is separate from the Vacation Planner. They work in totally different ways but you can obviously enter the FP+ and ADRs into the Vacation Planner.

Thanks Simon. Patience was never my strongest characteristic LOL I've just been entering potential ADRs in the vacation planner. FPs will be a few months yet

If you feel like a challenge, having a vacation planner that linked to ADRs and FP's would be super-good

Woohoo. They finally appeared on google calendar overnight. That's seriously slow, but all good now. Thanks again.

I really wish Google would have a setting for update frequency. As I mentioned Apple are almost instant and Outlook is normally quick too. It is just Google that is so slow.
