Mobile Super 8 slides?

Hoping some of you may know what I mean! I’m looking to find out if anyone knows of anywhere that can transfer them on to either a flash drive? Or dvd ? we have loads from both families which we would love to be able to sit and watch!

I really must get around to getting 1000's of our photos put onto a DVD as the albums are just hidden under the staris.

Your post triggered me to have another look and I found a few places that do what you want

Just Google 'Super 8 slides to DVD' and loads come up. Even Max Spielman who are in Tesco do cine film to DVD. Not cheap mind.

Have you got a decent photo shop near you? They may help as some are excellent. I took some tatty old photos of my Grandfather in from the WW1 era and they restored them brilliantly plus they offer all kinds of film and slide transfer processes.

The first stage will be to convert them in to digital images, once in digital form there are plenty of programs that will allow you to create your own dvd slide show or you could use a picture to dvd service. (Boots, Tesco, etc)

Converting to digital, there are some simple scanners available like this one...
