Aldi's for essentials

We found this to be great value on our recent stay. (We were on the wrong side of the road for Walmart )

Did stop off at a Publix one day and walked out empty handed - their prices were ludicrous by comparison and was well worth the extra fuel/travel!

Ha ha yes that was me last year ! I put a half dozen items in my trolley in Publix and added them up in my head and put everything back and came out. This time I have deliberately chosen a villa near an Aldi !

Good thinking. I hadn't planned it that way, but was a lucky coincidence. Even spotted some of the same items in my local one when I was stocking up now we're home.

We normally go around Thanksgiving/Early December, we discovered the US Aldi near Tampa and I went mad in there, came home with loads of stuff like cornbread stuffing, cranberry jelly ( my dH does'nt like the bits in regular cranberry sauce)and loads of other stuff.
They had huge containers of Lacto Free milk for me, I would absolutely go mad for that here!
We are doing Southern Florida this year and our go to shop will definately be Aldi, we have a fab one here at home I use all the time.
