We always do WDW first but every time we come to book we toy with the idea of swapping them around. I think it's because..
If staying onsite at Universal, an early start is less important due to the folp passes. As we're always up at stupid o clock for the first few days of the holiday due to the time difference (same as most people), we use that time to hit rope drop at WDW parks before the body adjusts. Enjoy the parks better before they fill up after 11am. Apart from the odd early hour at US or IoA, we tend to enjoy a lie in and hit them later in the day., utilising the express passes.
