Hmm...
ChipandCo have an article about MK's early closing during August and are hinting these may be the start of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates! From the Dibb calendar, the 18:00 closing for Magic Kingdom are: Fri Aug 17th Tue Aug 21st Fri Aug 24th Tue Aug 28th I'm there for all those dates, (fly back on the 30th) - would love for the 28th to be a party night to end our vacation. Any thoughts on accuracy, or ideas on when dates are officially released (would be nice to know, since we're well into August 180 day ADRs now) Cheers, K

I think the 17th has been confirmed as a private booking, rather than MNSSHP

Dates usually get released in April with tickets going on sale in May.
I would take most 6pm closings as MNSSHP. No one will be able to 100% confirm until official dates are announced but it is a fair assumption that they will be, especially the 28th Aug Parties did start in August in 2017

28th would be cool - we missed the Halloween party in our Autumn 2014 trip, but did the Christmas one. We're locked in to August holidays now, and our last (August 2016) didn't have MNSSHP starting so early, so it would be nice to get to a Halloween Party.

We have been discussing this in several threads for the last 6 weeks as we have had the park hours that long. We will know for sure in April...

Last year they did it at World of Sports so it didn't affect MK. But apparently people didn't like it there. So time will tell if they have moved it back to MK as there is no official announcement on that. I am just guessing that is what it is as there are 4 days closing at 6pm and they wont be doing 4 consecutive nights of MNSSHP.

Okay, thanks SMAX. Will keep an eye on the Dibb opening times/planner. I might have to shuffle parks/dates if this is the case and we're booking ADRs next month...
