Child Swap passes?!
Evening all,
Just a quick question about child swap. We will be travelling with my daughter in April who will be just 19months when we go. I am not clear on how the ride swap works - I know we need to tell a cm at the start we want a pass but does she need to come into the queue?! Can 1 of us wait outside with her and do something else and then use the pass after or does she need to come into the queue? Is there a time limit on the passes? And how many people will it cover as we are travelling as a group of 7? 1 of them is her cousin who might not want to do some rides either! A whole new disney world with a child! Lol! Thanks! You all go into the queue together then when you get to the front you tell them you want to use child swap. They usually have a little waiting area for the child and the other parent to wait at whilst one rides then the other can then ride with the child. You can use it for the whole family and do it in 2 groups. We did. Universal and ioa are fab for having little waiting area

At Disney you ask a cm member at the front of the queue and they should give you a child swap paper ticket
Basically a paper fastpass So everybody else rides then you use the fp to go on afterwards It’s valid for up to three people So You could “save” fp’s for three of you or use them for something else you can do with the baby while they ride |

The above applies to Universal.
At Disney you approach the CM just outside the ride and ask for a Rider Switch ticket. Then one of you waits outside the ride with your daughter whilst the other one joins the queue (either the standby queue or the fastpass queue if they have a fastpass booked). After the first one has ridden and left the ride, the other adult then uses the Rider Switch ticket to join the fastpass queue (they don’t need a fastpass) whilst the first rider looks after your daughter. See the following for a better description and a list of attractions that uses Rider Switch: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Rid...ce-p-1461.html
