Virgin Alamo - Weird Skip the Counter ticket

Just added all my info and gone to print out the ticket but its come out all weird, there's no info on it at all. Eg. where all the driver info is there's nothing!


Is this normal?! It has the barcode and everything at the top but I'm just worried I've done something wrong

Theres an ongoing fault with the OLCI slip. Alamo have assured me the system will have remembered your details and you can still go straight to the garage.

I spoke to them yesterday as mine was the same. They said as long as you'd got the barcode that stored the info and it would be ok. He checked my reservation and it was all checked in ok and they could see all my details.

I assumed this was fixed as I did OLCI a few weeks ago and mine came out ok. Seems they're taking a long time to sort it out!

I see from your countdown you're there this week, could you let us know how you get on with the ticket at Alamo?

Hi,
as an update for anyone I travelled last week to Seattle with the same issue (Alamo via Virgin blank info) and it wasn't completely straightforward...

When I arrived at the garage the first Woman told me I had to go to the desk as she couldn't see what I had ordered and the manager also seemed unaware of the printout problem - Luckily I printed the order confirmation screen (one before skip the counter ticket) which shows everything you have booked and they simply used that as confirmation of the car type I had booked and I was then able to take the car.
At the barrier I then also had to wait over 10mins as they couldn't verify my credit card details and had to wait for the manager to come again and sort it which she did however it was a wait and luckily it was a quiet time so they were not busy.

In summary I advise everyone to print out all the different confirmation pages and screenshots etc as no one seemed interested at all in the bar code.

Cheers Ian. Good advice. There's others going into Orlando shortly with the same issue so interesting to see how they get on.
Like you I've got a print out of the screen before and Alamo UK have assured me the info is there and on the barcode.
I've also emailed myself a copy of the reservation from Alamo which shows everything, costs etc and also has the little headers on saying "thank you for choosing to bypass th counter... " etc so hoping it will be enough.

Yes, I am sure if I didn't have the full details printed of what I had booked I would have been made to go back and queue at the desk for them to print the info so definitely take it all printed out
