Car Hire at Fort Myers (RSW)?

Have been looking at fly drives on BA for November and although I can find flights from Glasgow when I click thru to add car hire it comes up not available. I checked RSW's website and Avis are there , so what am I doing wrong . Would like to book fly drive so I can pay a deposit .

All the usual car rental companies are across the road from Ft Myers airport (RSW) - we are currently renting from Avis (via Avios BA miles). Don�t know why you can�t do a fly drive into RSW using BA.

When I flew in there I was off the plane and driving away in 45 minutes, it was great.

OP. I have just tried for you and I cant get it either. It keeps pushing me to do the Tampa route.
Most weird.

Would it be worth doing a flight only and adding on the car as a DIY? All the usual suspects are based at the airport so no problem there.

Thanks guys, it is weird isn�t it. I can book the car hire on its own and the flights separately too but not together and of course that�s when you usually get a better deal doing both together and only a deposit needed. Suppose I could try phoning BA ... hate phoning them! Sounds a great place to fly into so might be pushed into it ... thanks again.
