As per Mick. Your choice and there is no right or wrong. Financially it's always cheaper to pay cash, but it does mean you have to stop.

I pay cash as I know how to dodge around the tolls and therefore only pay $2.25 heading out of the airport and the same on the way back. For me cash is the answer.

Alamo do not do the sun pass they do toll by plate.
This mean you do nothing when you drive through a sunpass lane it takes a picture of your plate and bills Alamo who in turn bill you and charge an admin fee.

If you are travelling in orlando area only then I would advise use the cash lanes and receive no admin fee from Alamo.

If you want to use Sun pass you can buy a sun pass mini sticker.
this sticks on your windscreen, you activate it and put a credit card on file you then get billed on your card at the lower toll rates.
No admin fee.

I just wanted to check if this information is still valid (at the time of writing)?

I've looked at the link someone posted earlier (sunpass for rental cars) and it seems to be.

Thanks everyone

Thanks Tom - I'm with Alamo so should be ok then. I've done all my STC paperwork even though there are a few months to go yet
