Fort Wilderness Boat to Magic Kingdom
Hi
We will be checking into the Fort Wilderness Campsite and were thinking of catching the boat across to the Magic Kingdom direct from there first thing in the morning. My question is it easy to get down to the boats looking at google earth the car park look quite some distance away from where the boats leave. Or would you recommend to just drive to the Magic Kingdom and get the ferry boat? is this an easier option. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Fort Wilderness has an internal bus that you'd use.

As above FW has an internal bus to get you around the resort. The boat is a lovely way to arrive right in front of MK and is much less faffing around than driving to TTC, getting the car park 'tram' to the monorail/ferry and then another 15 minutes to get over to MK.

Have only got the boat from MK to FE for Hoop de doop revue (we love that show!) but it was a lovely free ride in our opinion! Then we got bus over to our other Disney hotel afterwards.

We stayed here for 5 nights in Sept 2016. We were in loop 2600. It was about a 5 minute walk to the internal bus stop, buses ran on a regular basis which took about 8 minutes from our loop to the ferry boat.
The ferry boat takes about 15 minutes, my only gripe was that the first boat left at 8.30am (non EMH) and by the time the boat docked we had missed the opening show at the front of MK, I know this has changed now. If returning late from the parks I would recommend you take a torch. |

We have booked the campsite for 1 night so do we get the boat to Mk or drive. We do have a disabled badge so will be able to park near anyway.?
