Check in times coming home

Hi,
For direct (& flying to Europe from US) you are advised to get to the airport 3hr in advance (or is it now 4hr?)
For indirect with US connection what is the advised check in time? Thinking of 11am MCO to Boston

Thanks

Even with a internal connection you are still checking in for an overseas flight so you need to leave thee designated time. It is also worth remembering that it can often take an hour just to get through the security checkpoint.

It is less time if you are flying on an internal (within US) flight. I would still advise getting there early, queue for bag drop is usually pretty long and even more than that, the queues for security at MCO are absolutely horrific most of the time!

I would make sure that I was at the end of the queue to go through security by 9.00 at the latest.

You can buy fast track security one of the reasons the rest may take so long but worth considering it 2 for £7.50at Manchester just now thinking of doing it myself

Do check your documents but I'd assume the gate closes at 10:45 for an 11:00 departure.

Security is taking between 30 & 60 minutes at MCO at the moment, so I'd look to be within the terminal by 09:00 which means dropping the car by 08:45.

We had the priority lane when flying in Jan. It still took 30 minutes. It only saves the initial queue for the document checks, which I'd say was taking 10 - 20 minutes.
