Glitch/Cheap price thread July/August 2018

After missing loads of deals because my wife wanted to depart and land back at Newcastle, we've finally managed to get a bargain. Just looked yesterday afternoon at Momonodo and got NCL-LHR-LGW-MCO and on way back MCO-ORD-LHR-NCL. 2 adults, 1 youth and 1 child for £2208. This is departing 2nd August and returning on 17th.

Link on Momonodo took me to Omega flight store but they said no flights available at that price. Went to travel trolley link and got the tickets. Already had invoice and e-ticket, and logged onto BA site and can manage booking.

Same flights on Sunday were just under £3000. Had similar prices from Manchester, Edinburgh etc.

We booked man-ord-mia last wk as couldn't get anything decent from ncl for our dates, all 900+ so well done

We’re booked on the man-Lhr-Mia route 19/8, I really wanted to stay in Miami or close by overnight but my hubs is insistent he wants to just get all the traveling done on one day.. we will stay overnight before the man-lhr flight but it’s an early start isn’t it !

What time do u land, I'd be very cautious about a 4hr drive after a long flight, we are always wrecked after the drive from mco, no way would I drive from Miami, we are staying 3 nights and taking in the sites but each to there own

Got flights from Belfast to orlando for 2 adults and 2 kids. £464 each. 6th August to 20th August via travelup.

We’ve done the drive a couple of times - it was ok, you know how long it is so you are prepared for the drive anyway.

Skinetty, may see you as we are on those flights, have also decided to do all our travelling in one day.

We have been lucky enough to go go every year and have done all kinds of routes including Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Also flying into Miami on the 5th August 2018 but plan to stay overnight.
I really would advise anyone not to attempt such a long journey after the flight. It could take a couple of hours to get out of the airport and car hire depending on how busy it is.
