DCCC to Grand Floridian

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how far the DCCC is from the Grand Floridian? We are being picked up from AK to collect our car but all our luggage and car seat will be at the GF. My youngest (age 3) will not be able to go in the car back to the hotel so we will either have to wait at the DCCC or get Disney transport back to GF and meet my other half there?

Hi. It's probably 1 mile or thereabouts. However do not attempt to walk it, you will get wiped out! There are no sidewalks and it's the main road by the CCC.
I would suggest you all get the Alamo minibus to the CCC and your Husband after getting the car drives to the GF, collects the seat and luggage and come back for you.
Now you may find the minibus will drop you to the GF if it's free at that time but don't bank on it.
There is no other transport available and Disney buses don't pick up or drop off at the CCC.
