Mobile Parking at Disney hotels

Hi.
This is not a 'beat the system' or whatever just a question...

I have dinner ADR at Chef Mickey at 6.15pm. I plan to then go and see Wishes at MK.

I expect be finished dinner around 7.45 odd?

I am staying on site at SSR.

Can I park at contemporary hotel, eat the dinner, then monorail to MK and back after wishes?

I have read on here about 3 hours allowed. I am guessing I will be 3.5 hours or so.

My question is what exactly will happen to me / my car, if I am 30 mins over 3 hours? Will a guy tow it away? Crush it? Fine me?

I don't fancy at 7. 45 pm driving from contemporary to car park then on boats or monorail etc to get to MK for 30 mins wishes show then back through it all again to get out.

I am not trying to gain some financial advantage or whatever as I have free parking anyway, just save hassle.

The only thing they might do is tow your car. They're sometimes a bit stricter at night because people are trying to get back to the resort and find parking. Can you park at TTC, monorail over to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey and just go back to your car after wishes?

I'd do this.

Yeah I could but it's just the extra hassle for the sake of 20-30 mins that's all I was thinking

We've had the hassle of trying to find a parking space when returning to CR/BLT at night.

3 hours is more than generous and is afforded to you free as a courtesy. Guests staying at the Contemporary are entitled to a parking space (just as you are at SSR) and if non Contemporary guests are abusing their time you can imagine the fun some are going to have trying to find a rightful place. Disney are really tightening up on the 3 hour rule.

I expected these type of replies but still not really getting the point...

OK so say my ADR is changed to 7pm? I would be finished dinner, watched wishes, back at car by 10pm. Therefore within 3 hours

How does this make a difference to people who live there getting a car park space?

I accept there is a 3 hour rule to stop folk parking there in the morning for free, leaving it there all day etc.

I'm talking about 3 hours 15 / 20 mins or so to avoid going backwards and forwards for no reason other than avoiding this 3 hour time limit.

I will just ask them when I'm there if it's OK leave it there or find out from them what my punishment will be

Why not Valet park? No time limit.

It would be a waste of money for the sake of the time involved
