I wouldn't go for longer than a week. Doing 7 nights this trip and even that's a stretch - around 4 nights is our comfort zone, regardless of destination.

We prefer shorter durations.

Yep - did a week last year, went to both coastlines, Disney and Universal. Going for 6 days in a couple of weeks time, cheating a bit as I'm in Vegas the week before.

We went for a week last year and just did Disney. Loved it and would definitely do it again.

We went for a week in October & had a brilliant time!
Personally I like going for a bit longer (10-14 days) but a week is fine, especially when the kids are only off that long for October holz.

First night the kids were in the pool till 10.30 which helps adjust to the time zone I think - after that we had beach/pool days, 2 days @ universal & a day at Volcano Bay with trips to the ice hockey/malls at night - wouldn't hesitate to do it again

Very often - Feb or Oct half term usually. Going next Feb for 8 nights as I don’t work on a Friday! We’re repeat visitors so know exactly what we want to do, usually bumbling round the shops with the odd theme park afternoon. Next Feb we’ve got a California Grill Brunch, and Orlando Ballet at the Walt Disney Theater booked.

We're going for 6 nights (and one night in the Premier Inn at Manchester Airport) Going to do Disney only, a bit of shopping and spend more time at Port Orleans.

It's not as long as I would like but if it's 6 days or nothing then 6 days it is. Can't wait

Yup going again next May the flight prices were the same as for Lanzarote so why not?

Yes it's longer sitting on the plane but the rest is the same.

Only thing I would say is that if you are visiting the parks then you don't get as much value as the 14 day tickets are the same price as the 7 day tickets so if you want VFM then best to go for the 14 nights.

I've done it before (many years ago) and would do it again, although I prefer a longer trip.

I've done it for a week (6 nights really) and I fly much further to get to Orlando than most people here!

In fact I'm currently contemplating doing another week early next year (again with travelling time in excess of 24 hours to get there)... but this is partly contributed by the fact that it's difficult for me to get more than a week of leave at a time from work.
