More Avis Preferred questions

Was not sure to join as with all the problems of linking with a BA bookings.Do i need to go to my country (Ireland) Avis website or the .com to join.I did read 1st timers still need to go to the desk in the garage before picking up car,is this where i can request a Sun Pass Transponder and give them my fuel choices.

Sign up on your countries bookings and call avis customer service and just ask them to link BA booking to your preferred account, it will take about a day.

On you first visit you go to the booth in the garage and they will take a copy of credit card so you can skip the booth from then on.

The toll transponders are already in the cars built into the windscreen, if you want to use them just make sure it is switched to on. Although i would suggest you leave this off and just pay for tolls.

If you want to prepay for fuel then ask at the booth.
