Alamo - Child Seats

I have a car via Virgin and that comes with a booster seat, child seat and a child infant seat.

My daughter is 9, 53 inches tall so I don't think she needs any of them however Alamo have said the law is 57 inches and 80 lbs but seems incorrect?

Could anyone confirm for me please?

That is the law in some states but I don't think it applies to the state of Florida.
I think it says something like a child under the age of 6 must use a child restraint, and children 6 - 18 must use a child restraint or a seat belt.
Maybe a Dibb expert will be along to confirm/deny.

6 is the magic age.
No seat needed once again a dodgy carhire company looking for cash.None are immune from these practises.
Enjoy.

Regardless of what the law states, just mirror the types of seats you have in the UK.. take your own if you wish to save funds..

Dont compromise..

In uk if your child is 53 inches (135cm) they won't use a seat anymore anyway.

They can if they are less than 5.5 stone as a lot of the car seats are also rated up to this weight if they extend above 135cm.

I'm sure you wish to re think this comment as disregarding laws of others countries you visit would probably be against the rules here.
In respect a UK child seat may well be illegal in US as not approved.
I guess you would not like US vistors to our country disregarding our laws.
Unless of course your compromise is sod the law I will do what I want to
Of course I could have read your post wrong but it appears that you little consideration for laws.
