Uber at MCO

In a couple of weeks my wife (won't drive in the US) and our 19 year old son (would love to drive in the US but we won't let him) will be going over to Orlando and will need to get around by taxi. I'm thinking that using Uber will be the most straightforward option but wondered what wait times are like at MCO as they won't book one until they've collected luggage and where is the pick up - the main taxi rank? Also do they drop off and collect at all the Disney parks and Universal?

Set up the app before you go (cards linked etc)

When she opens the app it will recognise she’s in MCO. It’ll tell her how long the wait is likely to be. It shouldn’t be longer than 10 minutes.

When I went to order one, it asked me to confirm one of 2 pick up spots by the baggage claim doors. I selected 26-32 doors (I think) and 10 mins later a car pulled up calling my name to confirm. There were a few other users there

Cost was half the usual taxi fare (and this was for Uber XL)

We used Uber and Lyft all over Orlando last year. It will bring them wherever they want (and collect them too)
