Aviva insurance multi trip cheaper

Hi all, I'm a little stumped, just done a quote on aviva results came out £293 for single trip or £149 for multi trip I've compared both benefits which are the same but i just don't get how the annual can be cheaper than the single trip. Any ideas why or am i missing something?

If anyone already has Aviva insurance for other cover types (House, car etc) they often do free year European cover every now and again. I got this offer and upgraded to worldwide, so I only paid for the upgrade. Think it was £35 for me and OH. Bargain!

Yeah we went for Aviva annual policy . I'd heard that sometimes annual is cheaper but didn't believe it! I think for us it was because we got it as a family/household (2 adults). Don't think it was quite as good a deal individually.
