October 2018 initial plan, any thoughts?

We are staying at POFQ with upgraded dining plan for 11 nights in October. This time it's just me and DD on a mum and daughter trip to celebrate our birthdays. DD is 18 on this trip and it's my birthday too. Obviously park dates aren't released yet but, subject to change, what does everyone think so far. We have never had ddp before and are a little concerned that 2 full meals may be too much but we like ts meals so upgraded our free qs plan. We do not have a car so will be using Disney transport, Uber and hopefully an organised trip by coach to Clearwater:

Day 1: Arrive at MCO 4pm, ME to POFQ. Meet friends at DS. QS at Daily Poutine
Day 2: DDs birthday. Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno, Bon Voyage. Magic Kingdom until tired snack lunch Gastons? Evening DS Polite Pig or D-Luxe Burger qs or DHS for Star Wars fireworks ABC Commissary qs
Day 3: Animal Kingdom Flame Tree bbq qs lunch. Evening House of Blues or Homecoming DS
Day 4: Epcot Coral Reef ts lunch Evening snack around the world, food and drink festival
Day 5: Hollywood Studios 50's Prime Time ts lunch Evening MNSSHP Pinocchios qs dinner
Day 6: Vineland outlet mall by Uber. Late afternoon/evening AK for RoL meal at Yak and Yeti ts
Day 7: my birthday MK lunch at BOG qs Evening Epcot dinner at Teppen Edo ts Illuminations
Day 8: Beignets breakfast at POFQ snack credit. Pool until lunchtime. Hollywood Studios Mama Melrose Fantasmic package ts then qs at POFQ after Fantasmic
Day 9: All day MK Lunch at Tomorrowland Terrace. Then WL for Whispering Canyon around 5pm ts credit, then back to MK for HEA
Day 10: Day trip to Clearwater. QS meal at resort on return
Day 11: Magic Kingdom lunch? Evening Disney Springs STK 2 ts cr
Day 12: Leave luggage with bell services. Epcot Biergarten lunch ts. ME to airport around 4 hours before flight, estimate leave resort at 5pm for 9pm Virgin flight home.

Any thoughts? Struggling to find qs places in MK, any ideas on this or even somewhere to eat with snack credits in MK. Any advice welcome. TIA

Your plans look fantastic! My only comments are:

Day 3 - Portions at Homecoming are massive so maybe share a lunch at Flame Tree or just have a very early lunch!
Day 9 - Same as above! (We had the skillet at WCC and it was amazing but HUGE)

Thanks. We are planning on sharing at Flame Tree as we had thought of that 😀. We do want skillets at WCC too so I agree, we will share lunch that day too.

Seems a lot of faff to go to trattoria for breakfast and then to MK on your first day, you’re going to lose a lot of time to buses getting around? I understand that might be your daughters choice tho

I think we will get an Uber into Boardwalk for breakfast as I agree Disney buses would be a pain for breakfast time. Yes, it is DDs birthday meal choice as she wants breakfast with Flynn Ryder on her birthday 😁

Sounds great, we will be at POFQ the same time as you too, well for the first 3 or 4 days of your holiday anyway.

I have used last years busy day calendar to try and work out best day for each park.

I cant wait

If we have ts breakfast we only ever have snack for lunch then as tea, if we do ts dinner we use snack n as for breakfast n lunch, can't manage 3 meals in a day

What about monorail to gf or poly or walk to contemporary for lunch on mk days, all have good qs

I think the best QS in MK is Columbia Harbour House or BOG. Here's my list of snack credit must haves at MK - Starbucks Cream Blend Smores, Strawberry & Cream Frappuccino – less ice, Fruit Tart. Main Street Parlour Ice Cream Cookie/ Funnel Cake Sleepy Hollow/ Cinnamon Roll Gaston’s Tavern/ Garlic Breadsticks Pinocchio Village Haus/ Mickey Cookie Big Top Treats /Fantasyland Pineapple Upside Down Cake/Dole Whip Aloha Isle Adventureland/ Coke Float /Plaza Ice Cream Parlour. Hope these help

I have looked at last year's hours too, especially to work around MNSSHP. We are really looking forward to staying at POFQ, it looks a lovely resort 😊
