Seats near toilets - how bad?
There are still rows of 4 free however... The only free row of 2 in PE is infront of toilets.
Some say bothersome, others not. Dibbers opinion, yay or nay? |

Personally I wouldn’t as the smell after a few hours of people opening and shutting the door would be enough to make me urge :-(
But it might not be that bad, I’ve never sat there but I do know how stinky the toilets get towards the end of the flight xx

I assume there are just 2 of you? and the Row is 18?
If it was my Wife and I and it was the outbound flight yes we would take them. Not for the inbound flight though due to the flush noise whilst trying to sleep. The worst seat in that cabin is 19G. Right outside the loo entrance so you get the following:- Noise from the loo Noise from the door banging Light intrusion But the best of all - the odours that emenate from there.

Afraid I’ve had a bad experience where people were constantly standing in my leg room, leaning on my seat and worst of all, i was trying to hold my breath for most of the flight. Afraid those seats are no longer for us.

I sat right by the toilets on a flight home in 2012. I ended up with pneumonia for 4 months when I got home and my doctor thinks I picked it up on the plane - especially after I told him I was sat near the toilets!
It might of had nothing to do with it, but I won’t be taking my chances again! |

Or for me, we had our seats changed in pe on a flight back, and with the smells the opening and closing of the door, and the people leaning on my seat whilst waiting, not for me .

We have row 18 on the way out to Orlando and 19 on the way back. We have sat in those seats without problem in the past so I am hoping for a non smelly flight this time. We have not had a problem with people standing by our seat either.
Agree with Mr Tom re 19 G
