Seats near toilets - how bad?

Totally agree with this. Also had people actually using my shoulder as a place to rest their hands. Never again.

We quite often the row behind the loos in ba economy as that is the extra leg row seat. We’ve never been bothered by the smell (although yes after it doesn’t smell) however the trade off of the extra leg room was worth it for us.

We sat in the seats in front of the toilets on a flight back from LAX I never had a wink of sleep as all I heard was the door banging all night. We were allocated these seats 😡

I sat in 19G on our last flight but it didn’t really bother me ..in fact, it was really handy for me as my 3 year old constantly needed the toilet and I didn’t have to move to help him! I think we used it more than anyone else! We have 18 h/k and 17 h/k next time which for me is an improvement but again, don’t think it will be bothersome and handy for my little ones! My MIL and FIL had 18h/k last time and it didn’t bother them at all either.

You could have a quiet flight but my guess is a noisy one with awful smells from the loo. I have sat in 19D which was fine but I wouldn't want to be any closer than that.

I'd rather sit on the floor or in an overhead locker than near the loo's ... a definite no no for me
