Booking seats on the Thomson dreamliner

Has anyone had experience of a 3 week stay, booking seats 90 days before and not getting much choice of seating because those that have only booked for 2 weeks are able to get their seats 7 days earlier?

Also, I can't seem to see how much extra it would be to book extra room seats on our booking - it isn't highlighted on the screen. All we've done is booked the "select your seats".

I just think they are busy flights and the choice of seating gets less and less as time goes on. We booked our flights last year and booked our seats (premium) that day too. I went back on a couple of weeks later just for a wee nose and found that there were only six seats left in premium and all the other seats elsewhere seemed to have been booked! My best bet for you is to pop into your local TUI and see if they can help. Not sure if that has been of any assistance to you but good luck in getting sorted and enjoy your holiday!

Are you accessing through flight extras or manage my booking? I can do more through Manage my Booking, although you may still be better to phone. I have recently noticed that PE was available for my flight, and it had not been an option previously. However, I still phoned and managed to get an inbound PE upgrade for £99 each, whereas they wanted £317 for a return journey. Worth a try.

Yes it's a huge problem and obviously Thomson still haven't made it any easier. Annoying really as 3 week stays are paying more but not getting the same treatment. I contacted them via messenger as I gave a disability and wanted seats opening at same time as everyone else. They were really good booked the seats and I was able to print ur any problem but there wasn't and these seats were there all the time.

I thought you could book your seats as soon as you booked now? We did last May.

Unfortunately the 90 day rule still applies to select your seat bookings.

The only exception is premium, extra legroom or extra space seats.

We paid £200 for 5 of us return for extra legroom.

That'll be why, we're flying premium economy.

We paid £48.75 each for extra leg room seats which I booked at time of booking.
