Park tickets in UK or US.

I was just wondering if anyone has some advice on park tickets. My dilemma is should I get them in UK or US. Is it cheaper to buy in the UK or can you pick up a deal in US when you arrive. Thanks

It depends what you're after. For Universal tickets, ATD are the best - the US tickets don't have the 14 days unlimited entry and you have to buy a certain number of days.

I always buy my Disney tickets from the US, as I can buy the Magic Your Way base tickets and just get the number of days I know we'll use - we rarely go more than 5-6 days in any holiday. I use orlandoattractions for my Disney tickets - choose to pay in dollars and you'll get the full list of options. I bought mine at a lower dollar exchange rate several months ago, and paid just under £170 each for 7 days (paid for 5 got 2 free). If you want to park hop, then you can get those as well.

Orlando Attractions are fully guaranteed, and are actually posted from Scotland would you believe! One of the co-owners is a member of the Dibb (Mrs Orlando).

The only 'deals' to be had in the USA are linked to timeshares, and I wouldn't recommend that.

However, you need to know that the tickets sold in the UK are not available in the USA, and vice versa.


We can only buy all-inclusive tickets for 5,7,14 or 21 days. They include unlimited access to all of Disney parks, water parks, Disney quest - everything Disney does. You can hop between parks as and when you want too.

They are very convenient as they include everything, but if you don't need the works, then they can be more expensive.

In the USA they sell Magic Your Way tickets, whereby you pay for a base ticket which gives a certain number of entrances to the main 4 parks, and then you add on water parks, and park hopping privileges if you need them.
If you only need base tickets, ie, one park per day, no hopping and no water parks, then you can make a good savings with these tickets. If you want water parks and hopping, then you are probably better off with the UKs Ultimate ticket.


As far as I know, there is one store that sells both - Orlando Attractions, all other stores either sell the UK or the US tickets.

got mine from orlandoattractions and have to agree with SB they are good..this year i got a fair fx prepay card through the dibb, loaded it when the rate was good then bought tickets in dollars from OA saved me nearly £200... the more times you go the easier it is to identify which tickets best suit your needs...have a great time

I'd always recommend buying tickets from here in the UK before you go. The only time it's worth getting them in the USA is if you just want a single (or two) day ticket. Even then, it can often be better to buy online from the park's website before you go.

Generally, multi-day tickets bought over here in the UK are cheaper than if bought in the US. Also, you can only get 14 day tickets for places like Disney and Universal from here in the UK.

BTW, buying the MYW tickets from Orlando Attractions still means you're buying the tickets here in the UK. Oh, and MYW tickets are international tickets, not US ones.
