Iíve just had my email confirming refund been processed and should have in 7 days maximum...that was for a flight due to go out on 20th October

I also got an email from BA today saying our flights on 31st October are cancelled. I tried contacting them on the number given but just got through to an answer phone message reeling off other tel numbers and advising to use Manage My Booking site for cancellation. I have looked on mmb but it says for refund to try another telephone number but I will have to wait until lines are open again now. How have you fared with getting a refund ? Did you get offered a voucher first ? Great that we've both been contacted though.

Our dates nov28th to Dec 13th now cancelled by Virgin, so doesnít look like any journeys direct up to 13th December

Virgin cancelled holiday lets see how long before refund is processed, really pleased tbh didnt want to go this year , probably 2022 til we attempt to go again

Just got the email that my refund from Virgin Holidays will be going in some time in the next 14 days.

We'll see what I get. £500 deposit is guaranteed, £300+ seats for flights with Virgin Atlantic, I'm not so sure of. £300 insurance with their "partner" (I think Allianz?) probably not.

I received an email this morning from BA. They have ticketed my flight today and charged me £48. I changed my flight months ago from LGW to LHR and itís been showing on my BA account all this time.

I thought it was going to be a refund email (would have saved me a phone call). Due to travel 14th November but have given up on it and cancelled my DVC booking already.

thanks, they have been in touch after my query so may get a refund yet but its only been a few days since I asked for one so will see how I get on over next few days and if nothing, will try the chargeback route.
