I think it probably depends hugely on where you go, same as here. I know someone who went a few weeks ago and they said there was nothing of the sort. They were all drinking/dancing, bar crawls, boat parties etc with no masks and no social distancing.

Its the same with Spain/Greece I think. Some places are absolutely fine, some are terrible.

The only downside is that their last day of quarantine will be the first day of my holiday in Scarborough and they live in Whitby, so I was going to go to theirs first. Well just have to go at the end of our stay.

Agreed. We came back from Antalya 2 weeks ago today and it was all great.

We were monitoring the cases per 100,000 for 3/4 weeks beforehand and they seemed stable enough to take a chance and book a few days before flying. Glad we went when we did as were contemplating October half term.

Seems like only we were stupid enough to, if anything, over count our numbers..

They had very strict rules on masks enforced, over 2s must wear masks. Seems it didnt make a blind bit of difference.

I knew Turkey would be under done. They really have some neck trying to wing it. Got stuffed in the end.

Well what a surprise... not!,

Their irregular figures kept their tourism going for the summer.

Oh what a cynic.

It's all good and well saying the tourist districts are all safe and acting responsible, it's these areas which need the tourism so they will... Its the other 95 % of the country that needs to follow this standard.
