They never go down, only up. But indirect changing at Lille will be a lot cheaper and potentially get you there earlier. Or Gare du Nord trains are sometimes £29 each way (though not necessarily the best times) and you can get an RER train from Paris.

It’s even cheaper at Xmas and Easter. Trust me to book the most expensive week of the year 😜🤣

What dates are you going? We are travelling 16th May and it cost us £41 each going. Coming back 5 nights later it’s £49 each.

Over half term. I knew they wouldn't be the cheapest ones.

The prices for the train we're 'meant' to be on in November (if we get to go) have actually reduced. I tried to book regular seats on release day dead on midnight, and they were £60 each way. So booked Premier for £79. They're now selling in the £40 ish region. 🤔
I've never known the prices to go down. 🤷 |

They came down a bit last week so I just booked them. It's more than I wanted to spend but the plane was £650 and by the time you added on getting to Heathrow and DLP the eurostar was about the same. Except it's direct so I bit the bullet. At least it's all booked and sorted and hopefully the world will be different next May

No, it is like the Tube in London, just buy a ticket from the machines (there is a button for ‘English’) and grab the next one.
The easiest route is: Follow the signs for RER Line B (blue) direction Robinson / Remy les Chevreuses (easy to remember as they both have a DLP connection, Robinson treehouse and Remy!) Go down the lift or escalator to the platform, take the train 1 stop to Chatelet les Halles. When you get out, just look ahead of you, the platform for Line A (red) is right there. No stairs, no walking, right in front of you. The indicator board has lights showing where the next train stops. You want one that stops at Marne la Vallee. There is a little Mickey head next to it just to remind you! So when that is lit up, you can catch that train. Takes about 40 min. Try and avoid rush hours as it does get crowded. And, as in all cities, keep your hands on your valuables as pickpockets may be about.
