Wow! You mustíve got lucky 😂. Iíve contacted Netflights via Twitter, email, phone & Facebook messenger. Every time theyíve said they are still waiting for Virgin. I requested the refund on 23rd May. They say Virgin are taking up to 120 days but wonít tell me when they actually passes the request onto Virgin 🤷🏼

At least they do actually get back to you. Lastminute.com wonít even acknowledge my New York flights for jan 21 have been cancelled and have closed all communication channels unless travelling in the next few days. Reading online that they are not even passing on full refunds to customers! 😱

I found out by asking Virgin when they received my claim from Netflights. It was 36 days after I raised the claim. Netflights claim they forwarded claim straight away. Virgin say they didn't receive it until 36 days later. Probably both are telling the odd fib so my 120 days will probably be 156. On top of that is how long before I get the money back. Virgin take 3 weeks (14 working days) so I've no idea how long Netflights would take. All in all I'm not expecting anything back for at least 200 days.

I raised chargeback on the same day as raised refund request but that is also 6 weeks to look at it and then 6 weeks for the chargeback. Probably longer if the truth be told.

So far on day 76.

I got my refund around the time we were due to fly .
It was virgin but on a delta code .
I had also spoken to Delta and they were brilliant , they told me that they had authorised the refund and it was down to the booking agent to issue it .
Once I told Netflights the refund followed quickly .

I used WhatsApp. It takes them 4 days to reply mind. Not sure how long it would take if you called them though. Their WhatsApp number is +44 344 874 7747.

I got my refund from netflights 2 days ago and request was submitted on 29th march.

we were on Virgin Man- Mco 19th May with Netflights and got an email last Friday to say refund has been accepted and will be back on my card in 3-5 days. it arrived on Wednesday... at last

UPDATE:

Got money back via credit card (chargeback) on Friday. Got a response from Virgin (I asked them when Netflights submit my refund claim) saying the request was received 7/7/20. Thatís 45 days after I requested it via Netflights! So my 120 days would be early November!

Have to wait 45 days now from when chargeback took place.
