BA, indirect via Philadelphia..

hi, have used my ba vouchers to book tampa indirect via philadelphia, will be going early April we hope, never gone indirect before is 2 hours enough time to through immigration and everything or are we pushing it a bit..thanks...

You might be fine, you might struggle. It depends on your flight arriving on time, how busy immigration is etc. We like to leave 4 hours at least for a connection - it gives us time to have a meal as well before we fly on.

2 hours is a bit tight I would imagine.
I like to leave 2.5 hours on the way hour minimum.
Most people say 3 hours +.

On the way back back 2 hours would be ok

First time we did that route, we were over an hour late leaving UK but still made it (just) for the next flight. With hindsight it was a real rush and we allowed more time for the next trip.

Philadelphia is one of the best airports for transfers- you’ll be on the AA plane I imagine, done this many times and 2 hours would have been enough there every time we have done it. You can always get unlucky but it’s much better than, say, Atlanta.
