Booked for end of June 21 - Floridays Resort
Hi all
We've booked for end of June 21 and are hoping that, by then, we'll finally be in a position to travel. Looking for anyone who has stayed at the Floridays resort just down from SeaWorld and opposite the Vineland Outlets. Resort looks great and had free cancellation. We also got a great fly-drive deal through BA. Any info on the resort would be great. |

Its a great place. Massive rooms and all spotless. Downsides is the shop is small and the pool isnt that big in the grand scheme of things. We always ask for a top floor or as high as we can get that overlooks the lake, that has terrapins in it.
Weve stayed there twice and the 2nd time they had re-done the rooms. Its in a good enough area to be pretty close to everything (by car). |

We have stayed at Floridays every time we have been and would return if we ever go again
Near the shopping outlets and a few restaurants, also very near Publix We always had a lake view, nothing better than sitting out with a morning coffee Sure you will have a fine time |

Lovely place.
Rooms a good size and housekeeping is every day, which I appreciated. Pool area fab with plenty going on ( if you like that sort of thing) ... movie nights were lovely. We did find that a few times we struggled for loungers etc but that maybe because we were a little later going down to the pool. Bar is good and the food is quite nice and plentiful. A good place to stop after the parks if you don’t feel like going out to eat. Didn’t use the shop as publix is nearby - very useful to stock up. Sad I know 😂😂 but loved the washer dryer facilities. Plenty of parking too. And I think Wi-fi was fine ( don’t remember the kids moaning)... in fact when we stayed at Blue greens, ds would ask us to drive thru Floridays so he could pick up the Wi-fi for a bit longer 😂😂😂😂. Only downside (if you could call it that) is the resort fee upon checking out... thought it was quite high - even though we were aware of it when we booked, although I think a lot of hotels are doing this now. It’s on the Daryl Carter parkway so you can use that to get to Crossroads and Disney Springs etc. A much nicer and easier drive imo. We’d definitely stay there again... in fact we should be out there now... we always go this time of year ... been looking thru photos and feel very ‘homesick’😞🙄😬.. Enjoy the planning |

We stayed there about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it, the rooms were very spacious.
We asked for a room on a higher floor and we were able to see some of the Disney fireworks. We loved the location and would stay again if the price was right. |

Thanks for all the replays folks. You've been a great help.
We like staying in and around the LBV area in big apartments where everyone has their own space. There's so much to do on your door step and travelling is really easy when you use Palm Park Way, South Apopka Vineland and lower I Drive. It keeps you off the I4 and gives you great access to restaurants all over the 192, I Drive and Disney Springs. You're 10-15 mins from everything. I seen a few offers yesterday but Floridays and Worldquest Resort stood out. Both in the right location for us but Worldquest looked a bit dated and is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Floridays location just looks perfect and the apartments look really nice. Publix on your doorstep and Vineland outlets a stones through away. From memory. last year Vineland outlets was undergoing a major expansion in and around that area as well so that will be another plus point. Trying not to get too excited as still have real worries about next June/July being viable but everything we booked can either be cancelled or amended if the worst was to happen so thought, why not! Could really be doing with something to look forward to. |

We’ve also stayed at Vistana Villages which is just across from Floridays. That was even nicer than Floridays but if you can get a good price for Floridays I’d go with that. We were looking forward to going to the Cheesecake Factory and Fords Garage at Premium Outlets on our May trip which was obviously cancelled, have to hope we can go again soon 🤞

Stayed at Floridays and would stay again at the right price. There is a Benihana's restaurant in the car park which is lovely but a tad pricey. Enjoy.
