Thank you for your lovely comments.
It's not nice when you feel that way is it, glad you still managed to enjoy your whale watching trip. We were tempted when we went to Iceland but it was too cold!

Thank you for still reading along

Sounds like a yummy meal at Bubba Gumps and w sundae finished off the day nicely xx
It's rubbish isn't it Michelle when it gets you that way and there are quite a few rides I have to avoid. Poppy was fine she only wanted a band because I had one!

The sundaes were so good glad we decided to go there xx

Great reading as always xx
That's what I'd read and i really do think it helped with my sickness. Ahh bless Jacob it's rubbish when you feel that way, those bands helped me too.
I had it in my mind that we wouldn't see any whales so it was brilliant when we did see them. Good luck for your tour xx

I lied when I said Monterey was my favourite place, it’s actually Pacific Grove which is where we stayed. The whole part of that coastline is just so dramatic with the vivid colours of the sea and the purple of the flowers along the edge. Ah take me back there!
Ooh more yummy sundaes from Ghiradelli, they’re just so good
It's such an emotionally thing to see isn't it. I still can't believe what we saw that day it will always stay with me.
Oh my they were the cutest sea creatures we couldn't get enough of them!
I obviously hadn't researched enough about Pacific grove as I didn't realise how beautiful that whole area was!
We couldn't resist Ghiradelli's

What an incredible day Julia. I can tell how much the whale watching trip meant to you through your words. Wonderful photos - I imagine you feel such awe being close to such magnificent creatures. It was lovely that your guide was pointing out other sea creatures and birds as well. I'm glad you didn't feel too ill on the trip and managed to enjoy it.

Dinner at Bubba Gumps looks nice, and those Ghirardelli Sundaes look amazing. Free chocolate too - can't go wrong with that!
