Mobile Virgin Atlantic and a pram

Hi

I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

A couple of questions for my September trip (if it goes ahead).

1. My son is 1 and will be travelling on our laps for the flight - does he get any luggage allowance or not? We’re in economy classic.

2. If we take our pram up to the gate at Manchester, where would we pick this up at MCO? On the belt like the suitcases?

Thanks

1. Infants get 1 x 23 kg case

plus a 6 kg Cabin bag

2. Buggies are delivered to the luggage carousel at MCO. Staff members unload them and place them near crew bags so they don't go around and get damaged.

So we were meant to be going in April with my 7 and 1 year old (we’ve been a few time with my eldest)

Your 1 year old gets a luggage allowance of 23kg like everyone else in the party.

2. Pram is with suitcases which is obviously after immigration. We took a baby sling and used that and I’m glad we did as I ended up waiting for 1:30 hours so without that it would have been a nightmare.

Thanks both!

We’ve been lucky on every trip as the Manchester flight normally gets in first to Airside 4 compared to the other UK flights and we always sit on the first couple of rows to make sure we get off quickly - We’ll look into a carrier just in case

There have been a couple of trip reports I have read, where the family have a pram that they keep with them it folds up small enough to go in hand luggage, think it was Happyhaunt1000 trip reports (Bret, Jo and Marceline)
