Assuming you can’t do anything with the banked, you could wait and see if anything changes but I’d immediately book a room for the busiest period, and look at going at Xmas or renting it out to Americans on the other board or with David’s (you could use Scott on here but you need a US tax number for that as he’s US based).

So I cancelled my Aulani reservation today - despite realistically having expected this to happen for the last couple of months, and actually not wanting to go on a plane right now anyway, I actually couldn’t hold it together when speaking to Member Services and actually cried whilst asking to cancel Aulani! 😢 (I’m blaming the soppy music whilst waiting to get through!&#128578.

So I took your advice and spoke to David’s (I figured if any rental is going to happen now before my banked points expire on 30th November, then it’s more likely to be US guests renting them).

David’s suggested I advertise the points, but also book a reservation for the points and then see which sells first - so I ended up booking 3 nights in a savannah 2 bed over Halloween weekend - I’m hoping that those dates will be attractive to someone? Tbh there wasn’t a huge amount of choice at this point, so I think I’ve more chance of renting the reservation than anyone wanting (or even being able to use) my points.

Hopefully we will sell them as losing 150 points will be gutting, especially after already being so upset at losing our Aulani trip 😢
