I’ll email my TA again tomorrow and see what she says. The whole thing is getting me down now, I’ve had two holidays completely cancelled and I’ve already changed this upcoming trip twice. If it wasn’t for DS who would be so disappointed if we had to cancel yet another holiday I’d just completely cancel this one and be done with it.

That was my point. It looks to me like the offer is for those who are losing free dining. So giving one thing in exchange for another. We cant give you free dining but will give a discount if you choose to still come.

nno6py where are you getting your sums from ? 35% of my AKL booking is £618 but my dining was worth £800 so I'm missing where I am better off than a Value?

Stop showing off! 😂 I wish we were anywhere near that! Our refund of 35% for All Stars for 11 nights was under 500 dollars. 😢
If we were anywhere near 3/4 of the dining cost, we would be happy(ish). We’re $1500 out of pocket. The DP for us was worth $2500, they have refunded $500 for the 35% and another $500 for the upgrade from QSDP to DP. We would be happy (ish) with $1930 (the 77% you’re getting), but we’re getting $1000 (40%).
The sums in Coronado Springs were based on a $400 tower room, same dates that we’re going.
It’s discrimination!

I’m assuming you booked via Disney US as UK customers haven’t been offered 35% off to my knowledge. I know I haven’t.

Yes, we did! We always book via the US site, so they’ve automatically applied the US offer for now. They’re used to International guests doing this and there is an option to choose a non-US country in the address form.
We’ve informed them that we’re UK based now but we’re not expecting treatment to be much different.
We’re aware that our real outcome will be the UK outcome but I’m furious for US citizens anyway. It’s so discriminatory that I can’t understand how they’re getting away with it!

I had already thought this which is why I emailed my TA and asked to cancel the Disney part of my stay and change the holiday to just universal and a villa. However the TA said not to do this until Disney made their announcement to see what they offer and said if I cancel before this that Disney will charge me a £50 per person cancellation fee, which hardly seems fair!

Yes we’ve booked with Disney US before. I’m not sure why you think you’ll be treated as a UK customer though? I was under the impression that the US offer was to rebook with a 35% discount? I didn’t realise they were automatically adding the discount to current bookings. I’m not sure why you think it’s discriminatory though?
