Virgin changing booking £50 from October
Morning
So I finally got through on WhatsApp yesterday and he said I would be able to move our booking to next year at £50pp. They are offering it for free up until 30th Sept, we fly on 3rd Oct.. I asked if this would be extended into October he said it would if travel disruptions continue.. So where do I find out if this had been extended? He said info is on the terms and conditions on the website but this doesn’t mention dates just that it costs £50pp... Anyone know? Thank you |

I am too waiting on this. I want to change from October to june next year. I spoke to VH on Twitter and they advised waiting to this Month to see if it was extended instead of paying the £50 pp. I have tweeted them to see if there has been update and waiting on a response. I’ll post an update if I get one.

The usual thing is that Virgin say they are on the advice of the FCO which currently says no travel with no actual end date to relax the ban. Over the last few months Virgin have changed their Covid information page to say travel up to a certain month can be changed without admin charge. I've been watching and refreshing that page for months as our dates approach. That date has creeped from May to now 30th September.
The Covid page is virginholidays/imp...es/coronavirus The flexible we won't charge you page is "Your Flexible Holiday Options" link on the same page. Direct link here virginholidays/imp...-holiday-plans Edited at 10:50 AM. |

Virgin have said they a restarting flights to MCO 20th July, so then it will be up to you to cancel, pay the change fee or hope that the FCO still say don’t fly
