I've not had the invasion of the baby starlings yet. I think they are so funny.

We get hit twice a day by what I call ''the starling gang''. About 12 to 15 of them descend on my grass have a mooch around and feed, stay 10 mins and go.

They are crazy.

Went out for the first time in 10 weeks, driving through the outskirts of town and watched in amazement as a sparrow hawk dropped out of the sky and snatched a bird flying across said road. Vicious little perisher!

We’ve noticed a huge increase in the number of sparrow hawks. We live by a small wood on the edge of a town. We never used to see them so close to home, but yesterday I counted at least 4 hunting in the sky over our house.

Walked along the river this morning and the swans were swimming with their 6! Babies.

I think I have said earlier in this thread I have seen red kites flying over the city which I've not noticed before.

Sad but they've got to feed their babies, nature can be cruel.
