Why has my layout changed ?

Since I last viewed The Dibb, about 2 hours ago suddenly I’ve got theDibb Menu down the right hand side of my iPad instead of the forum being across the entire screen.

I usually use a desktop view on my iPad not the mobile view.

Has anyone any suggestions to get back to my full screen view. I’ve tried switching between desktop to mobile and back to desktop but that hasn’t solved it

Apologies if the change is causing issues, I'll try and explain...

Desktop style on mobiles use to hide the right hand column but we have found the google-ads sees that as trying to hide adverts and we get penalised for it. The top menu has changed for similar reasons, the old menus opened over the top of google ads which we were penalised for.

Before the current situation we had dedicated advertisers and didn't rely on google ads to generate revenue. Since the closure of Florida parks and the lockdown here in the UK the main advertisers understandably either postponed or canceled their advertising.

The DIBB has been hit massively by this and we have lost 90% plus of our income. The only income we are generating at the moment comes from DIBB Passholders, Villa Owner/advertisers and some independent advertisers that have either stuck with us or their renewal isn't due yet.

The advertising revenue coming in at the moment just won't cover our costs for our server, associated services and licenses which are due for renewal in a few months.

We are optimistic that we can ride this out, but for the moment we are having to make some changes to optimise the DIBB so that we can it running. These are unprecedented circumstances that we all find ourselves in.

Hopefully members will understand.

Fully understand but this is unworkable for some reason on my phone.

Something needs to be done, I have adverts all over the page covering posts, surely there is a way of not blocking the posts?

I’m even struggling to post this, keep having to switch orientation and zoom in and out

Hi, whilst we are working on this can you use the Mobile Style which is designed for use with Mobile Phones, rather than the desktop style which is not.

Mine is the same, I have posted this on pc as on mobile I have exactly the same as you and can't see a thing apart from ads etc in the middle of posts - have tried the mobile layout but not as user friendly as what we had before. I understand the reasoning for having to change but this is a real pain!
