Mobile A question to anyone who’s been since Galaxy’s Edge opened

As a Star Wars nut (was 9 when New Hope was released), am I likely to be impressed or disappointed by Galaxy’s Edge

I am not a massive Star Wars fan but I have to say the whole area is very impressive. I have been on Smugglers Run which was fun. Better than Star Tours in my opinion. So much to look at through the queuing system. Can’t wait to ride Rise of the Resistance later in the year. Fingers crossed.

My husband is a massive Star Wars fan, and we absolutely loved it.
We were there the day after Rise of the Resistance opened, so didn’t get on it, but did do Smugglers Run. The theming on it and the entire area is just amazing 😊

It’s amazing - we were there in Feb with a large group - some Star Wars fans and some not ! Everyone agreed that the theming was brilliant ! We all managed to ride both Smugglers run and Rise of the Resistance ! Both brilliant ! x

I loved it and I didn’t even manage to get on either of the rides in February.

We are a mix of various levels of Star Wars fans (from “like the films” to geek level! ) and we all loved it! We were there in Feb and spent two half days there. Oga’s Cantina was great, Smugglers Run was brilliantly nostalgic and Rise of the Resistance...well it was absolutely knock it out of the park best ride ever! So realistic and immersive. You will absolutely love it! Make sure you take a phone charger with you though as the Play app (which is amazing in GE) zaps your phone battery in there as you take on missions! Oh, and I’m one of the “like the films” members of the family - the top level geek (DS) could just rave about it for hours!

We went in September when the WDW one had just opened and have to say it was absolute pants...

Only kidding!

Its brilliant!

If youre a Stars Wars fan then you can nerd out til your hearts content - and if youre not then you can take it the theming and the absolute attention to detail ,

The cast members will all be "in character" too - so dont ask what time Mickey appears by the big hat! Hahahaha

And make sure you have photopass - there are some really cool shots that have allsorts of things added into them - and in particular get the 360 shot which is really ace!

Enjoy
