Nothing for me. GLA 8th - 22nd Aug. Bubble seats back. WhatsApp message from Virgin did say automatic refund of bubble seats but didn't give any times.

I'd not say never as I've seen rumblings about a special send off, and people wanting "one last go", so they may not go directly to the scrappers, but I suspect you are right. Whilst I think we may get a one off, they are very very unlikely to see normal service again.

I've had my outbound flight cancelled in July, return is still LGW. I would like to rebook but still no flights released. The existing bookings on those flights will have to be moved over first before they are released for sale but no sign of that yet. If I can't rebook for this year, then I want to start the long refund process. Just wish they would sort it all out. They told me last week that the LHR flights would be released this week, but no.

I got through on the phone a couple of days ago and they told me that they may still need use the 747 for logistical reasons, whatever that may mean. We are September and haven't had a change yet

I may be wrong but if its like the 340s I dont think Virgin ever owned them (Its one of Virgins flaws they only really own the brand --- I think its Aercapp) so they will go back to the leasing company and still end up living a few more years probably as cargo converts before scrap..
