Air Bridges - Would you use them?

bbc/news/business-52900531

Portugal are suggesting an “Air Bridge” could be in place by the end of June... amidst Covid 19 threat.

If European countries established Air Bridges - would you go?

We were going to Portugal 11 August for 2 weeks
As there is 4 adults it’s obviously not cheap , flights were only 400 as I was up early on easyjet to book
Apartments at 2 locations was due a balance of about a 1500 plus the car hire next month
With spending it’s over 3k to add in and even if all is well I I can’t see me being happy to fly with a bunch of strangers in 9 weeks time so with great sadness I cancelled the apartments yesterday and am looking to change the flights .
A mutual friend shouted over the fence yesterday that she would pop round to the garden sometime and as I know she’s had contact with about 10 people in the last 24 hours I was mentally struggling with whether I should let her . Husband has diabetes and we both have asthma so we aren’t relaxing our lockdown though we have let the teens in a limited in the hopes they don’t carry it home

I might if they install a travelator system, but I certainly wouldn't consider walking.

Initially I was considering it but with travel insurance not covering cancellation we have decided to stay in the UK until things have calmed down

I am really hopeful. I booked easyJet flights that can be changed 14 days before. They were so cheap that I'm happy to change them if I need to. I booked them last week. Ive also booked a 2 bed apartment which has free cancellation up to 2 weeks before. Ive chosen an apartment so im not mixing with lots of people and we are going to hire a car so that we dont have to get a transfer. We're staying in a little fishing village that has lots of restaurants all with outside seating areas. I'm also happy to wear a mask for the duration of the flight. Ive also read that in August they will only be flying at 30% capacity.

I'm in a real quandary over this. We have flights booked for a family holiday mid July. I initially booked 2 flights for myself and DH for 17 nights, then booked 4 flights for kids and their partners. DD can't come now as working and youngest DS has pulled out for other reasons. Luckily he and DH have the same name so could change one of the four flights to my name.

I can either move them all to next year, which is probably what I'll end up doing. Even if they lift the quarantine I don't know if going is the right thing to do. I'm desperate to go but my head is telling me it's the wrong thing to do.

I cancelled our villa a few weeks ago and can get a two bed that doesn't need paid until 14 days before. It's such a dilemma.

We are also in Scotland and I am concerned that NS will choose a different path than BJ and foreign office lifts the advice and BJ lifts the quarantine but NS keeps it. Our holidays are earlier than the English holidays, schools come off end of June and we go back second week in August. Oh what to do. None of us can quarantine for 14 days. Our annual insurance runs out in a week or so's time.
