Mobile How far in advance are easyJet cancelling flights?

We are due to fly to Malaga in the middle of July, hoping our flight gets cancelled. Could anyone give me an indication of how far in advance easyJet are cancelling flights? Thanks

Ours for April were
only cancelled a week or less in advance. I have August flights and not sure what to do.

Oh that was quite short notice. I’ve checked on their website and there are no flights to Malaga from Glasgow showing until August. Other routes seem to be showing flights from the end of July at the earliest.

I have flights booked for Croatia in August and I really cant decide if I should swap - its made all the worse by the fact eldest hadn't booked his yet and now our flight coming home is shown as sold out so he cant get on that one ! As it has been so up in the air I don't really feel like going now and there's still the 2 week quarantine to contend with.

When I was checking on the website our flights were showing as sold out, when I used the app, the same flights were appearing as unavailable which more made me think they were going to be cancelled for the dates. It’s all very unsettling isn’t it. Really don’t want to go as it’s not the holiday we would have planned.

If they are showing as sold out they are generally cancelled. Easyjet tend to wait until about 14 days before they advise a proper cancellation and you can access a refund.
It’s a bit of a game, who blinks first. They would prefer you to change your dates or take a voucher.
When they do cancel its straight forward to get a refund.

I have just checked my August flights to Jersey. Each day where there are 2 flights one of them is showing as sold out so I am guessing now it will be cancelled. My outbound flight is sold out and the return is still showing. I will leave it a while longer to decide on rearranging or waiting to cancel. I do still want to go but the October flights are a lot more expensive and I booked my hold cases at just 99p.

Unfortunately with the airlines, despite the law, refunds are proving anything but straightforward

Thank you I didn’t know that sold out usually meant cancelled, I wouldn’t even mind having a voucher or swapping but it’s just up to May 21 which isn’t that suitable for us.

Normally with Easyjet its 7 days before the departure when they would cancel, so you may just have to wait and see - which isn't ideal I know. May be worth checking if you have travel insurance and they will cover it if the flights won't be cancelled.
