beach day trip?

hi, do any of you dibbers have any recommendations for a nice beach day near to orlando with a bit going on?

many years ago we did visit st,petes but found it a bit vast not much going on

unless we parked in the wrong area

what is daytona like? or clearwater? any views would be much appreciated

i've done both coasts, and apart from miami, i definitely prefer the west coast - sarasota is my favourite so far

Clearwater beach. We did 2 day trips on our last holiday. Parked near the pier. You need to arrive early as it fills up fast. Also did the clearwater screamer boat trip which was amazing. The dolphins were jumping right behind the boat in the wake almost close enough to touch.

If you want lots going on i would go to Clearwater.Google it.St Johns Pass I think its called is good at night to. Enjoy
