But in their defence I would say that Brits has some insane prices for certain dates.

An example is an 8 day rental in March 18. I paid a tad over £200 and now it's over £400.

My advice from many years of booking and tons of research. Book it the day your return date for the car is available. Book it with a firm that gives you free and hassle free cancellation e.g. Brits and Andy etc.

Pays off every time for me and I very rarely have to cancel and rebook as it's become cheaper.

Also dont ignore Netflights, tend to have good rental prices with Alamo.
My Virgin (Alamo) full size SUV end of July for 9 days was 279 I think full incl. Haven’t paid that low in years.

My dates are July 27th to August 10th.

Also I thank everyone for their replies but I am looking for a 7 seat minivan not a SUV.
